The software-defined architecture of the VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer enables Service Engines, the distributed load balancers, to be deployed closest to applications. These Service Engines collect real-time telemetry for parameters such as concurrent open connections, round-trip time (RTT), throughput, errors, response latency, SSL handshake latency, response types, etc. to provide insight and intelligence into the application performance, user experience, and network traffic. The Controller presents the Application Intelligence in a visual, actionable dashboard for administrators.
