Application health score provides an at-a-glance view of the application’s health.
In the context of the VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer the application health score is a computed representation of how well the application is working based on its performance, resource utilization, security and any anomalous behavior. The health score is expressed as a numerical score from 1 to 100.
How VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer uses application health score to simplify operations? In the VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer applications are color coded to indicate the health of an application. Green means that the health score of a particular application is between 90 – 100. Yellow means that the health score of a particular application is between 70 – 89 and there are issues that can be identified and fixed. Red means that the health score of a particular application is less that 70 and immediate attention is needed in order to fix issues that will improve the security posture and end user experience.
